Let me tell you a story
In the spring and early summer of 2020, we found ourselves in a often repeated phrase, “we are in unprecedented times.” While we all adjusted to living in an isolated world and continue to do so, it’s a great time to step into another world.
Since March 30th, I’ve been slowly releasing a new book here on my site. So, join us below for the full installment of my previously unreleased novel, Dear Departed.
This book will be here, on the site, until July 15th, when it will be taken down. If you enjoyed this book and are interested in more, check out my novels page to see where you can buy my three other novels.
Thank you to all who have joined on this adventure and brought history to life.
About this book
Ginnie Lee Kent has never been more than a few miles from her home in the West Virginia hills. Her years of wishing to see other places and meet new people finally come true when her grandpa takes her to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He fought in the famous battle there 50 years before.
Ginnie Lee meets a slew of fascinating people—even a couple good-looking young men. In her excitement, she fails to realize Grandpa has an ulterior motive. With all the new folks she meets, how could she have known the one who turns out to be a stranger is Grandpa?
